Finish Line Operator (On-site)

Department: Operations
Reports To: Shift Supervisor

Position Summary:

We’re hiring a Finish Line Operator to ensure the smooth operation of finishing and packing line machinery, maintaining production schedules and product quality. Responsibilities include operating and monitoring machinery, executing production schedules, troubleshooting processes, and ensuring part conformity. Key duties involve measuring dimensions, mounting tools, addressing operational issues, adjusting machine settings, and implementing safety procedures.

Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, proficiency in English communication, at least 2 years of manufacturing experience (preferably in the plastic industry), and familiarity with measurement instruments.

Maintenance Technician (On-site)

Department: Maintenance Technician
Reports To: Plant Manager

Position Summary:

We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial machinery. You’ll diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, conduct preventive maintenance on molds and equipment, and collaborate closely with production to ensure efficient servicing. Additionally, you’ll manage maintenance records, spare parts inventory, and lead special projects and upgrades to enhance operational efficiency.

To excel in this role, you’ll need a technical degree in Industrial Mechanics or Mechatronics, 5+ years of industrial experience with plastic injection machinery, proficiency in English communication, and preferably, certification in Allen Bradley/Siemens PLC.

Process Technician (On-site)

Department: Operations

Position Summary:

Join our team as a Process Technician, where you’ll play a vital role in supporting production involving injection molding, In-Mold Labeling, and electro-mechanical equipment. Your responsibilities will include analyzing data to optimize equipment efficiency, coordinating technical changes, performing mold maintenance, and developing programs for problem resolution. With a focus on continuous improvement, you’ll drive projects to reduce costs, eliminate waste, and enhance product quality while maintaining process standards and conducting quality audits.

To excel in this role, you’ll need an associate or technical degree in the relevant engineering field, proficiency in English communication, and at least 3 years of experience in technical support for Injection Molding, along with a thorough knowledge of PLC, automation, pneumatics, mechanics, and statistical process control. Familiarity with JIT and TQM theory is advantageous, and flexibility for off-shift and weekend work is required.

Position Summary: The Finish Line Operator oversees the operation of assigned finishing and packing line machinery, ensuring adherence to production schedules and maintaining product quality. This role involves troubleshooting processes, conducting part inspections, and coordinating with support personnel as necessary.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor assigned finishing and packing line machinery.
  • Execute production schedules and perform mold/material changes as required.
  • Conduct process troubleshooting and ensure part conformity and quality.
  • Verify paperwork, conduct inspections, and monitor equipment readiness.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure dimensions of finished workpieces for specification conformity.
  • Mount, align, and secure tools, attachments, and workpieces.
  • Listen for and address operational issues promptly.
  • Adjust machine settings and tools as needed.
  • Perform tool changes and workpiece placement adjustments.
  • Assist with manual lifting and use of hoists or cranes.
  • Modify cutting programs and insert control instructions as necessary.
  • Implement Lockout-Tagout procedures for safety.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in English written and verbal communication.
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience; plastic industry experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with measurement instruments.

 

Work Environment:

  • May encounter high places, fumes, outdoor conditions, and electrical hazards.
  • Moderate noise level in the work environment.

 

Physical Demands:

Maintenance Technician (On-site)

Position Objective:
Under minimal supervision, perform advanced skilled level duties for preventative and corrective maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems used in industrial processes and facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install, set up, and troubleshoot injection molding machines and equipment.
  • Diagnose malfunctions using test equipment and schematics.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on molds and tools, documenting repairs.
  • Maintain and repair plastics injection mold machinery, robots, and packaging equipment.
  • Collaborate with production to service equipment per schedule.
  • Record maintenance activities and manage spare parts inventory.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
  • Perform control troubleshooting and start-up/shutdown of plant equipment.
  • Lead special projects and upgrades as needed.
  • Foster an environment promoting continuous improvement and teamwork.
  • Provide electrical troubleshooting support.
  • Assist with tooling changes and minimize production downtime.

Qualifications:

  • Technical degree in Industrial mechanic or mechatronics.
  • Proficient in English communication.
  • 5+ years of industrial experience, including 5 years in plastic injection machinery.
  • Knowledge of schematics, electrical, pneumatics, mechanics, and measurement instruments.
  • Certification in Allen Bradley/Siemens PLC, C motion preferable.
