ICONS Beauty Group (“ICONS”) a global leader in beauty and personal care manufacturing, announces key leadership changes to support the company’s next phase of growth and innovation.

Scott Lingren has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ICONS Beauty Group succeeding Sue Nichols, the company’s founder, who is stepping up into the role of Vice Chair of ICONS Beauty Group Board of Directors.

With more than 25 years’ senior executive experience across the USA, Asia and Europe, Scott brings expertise in manufacturing, operations and global business leadership. As CEO, he will lead the ICONS’ portfolio companies, driving continued growth and reinforcing the group’s commitment to quality, service and sustainability. Scott will be based in Charlotte, North Carolina, home to ICONS Beauty Group portfolio company, ICONS America LLC headquarters and manufacturing facility.

Prior to joining ICONS, Scott was the senior executive for 9 years at Schunk Xycarb Technology Inc., a Schunk Group company in Austin, Texas, which is a leading global supplier of consumable products and related technology services for microelectronics and semiconductor production. He also gained more than 13 years’ global experience in executive positions with Freescale/NXP Semiconductors, Dell Technologies and Nokia. Originally from Wisconsin, Scott holds an MBA from Edgewood University and a BBA from University of Wisconsin’s School of Business.

ICONS Beauty Group (“ICONS”) announces a new chapter of growth with the opening of the ICONS America LLC, Taiwan Branch and the integration of ICONS|ICS operations with its US sister company ICONS America LLC.

There is no change in management, company structure or product offerings to clients and personnel will be integrated into ICONS America LLC.

ICONS Beauty Group Appoints President to Lead Expansion

Singapore, 12 June 2024: ICONS Beauty Group (“ICONS”) announces the appointment of Joaquim Camps as President of ICONS America LLC (“ICONS America”). Joaquim will lead ICONS America’s growth of beauty and wellness packaging products. He will be based in Charlotte, North Carolina where ICONS America operates a manufacturing factory specializing in the production of injection molded tubes using In-Molded Label (“IML”) technology.

Joaquim was most recently Chief Operating Officer at Viscofan USA Inc., a leading packaging company for nutrition and well-being products. He has a background in beauty packaging having spent more than 15 years at CTL Packaging in the US and Spain with leadership roles including Plant Manager and Director of Technical Operations. Joaquim has deep expertise in plastic tube manufacturing and decoration technologies including Flexography, screen printing, offset and digital printing, and hot stamping. His knowledge of the beauty sector will support ICONS America’s expansion of quality packaging products including tubes, caps, bottles and jars. Joaquim is an American citizen and originally a native of Spain where he earned a Master’s Degree in Operations & Supply Chain from ESADE Business School and a Mechanical Engineering Degree from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.

ICONS Beauty Group acquires on-shore USA packaging manufacturer

ICONS Beauty Group (“ICONS”) a cosmetic, beauty and health group of companies, and a ShawKwei & Partners portfolio company, announces the 100% acquisition of CTL Packaging USA, Inc. (“CTL”). CTL will now operate as ICONS America LLC. The facility specializes in the production of injection molded tubes using In-Molded Label (“IML”) technology for the beauty and health industry, providing high-quality decorative capabilities and luxury finishing.

Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, CTL was founded in 2011 as part of CTLpack Group S.L.U., a long-standing Spanish tube manufacturer for beauty and health products. The facility will merge into ICONS Beauty Group, which is headquartered in Singapore, to broaden its capabilities with made-in-USA quality products. ICONS has an over 30-year history of providing beauty and health customers with quality packaging products such as tubes, bottles, jars and accessories. Recently, ICONS has started production of sustainable rigid packaging products from its group factory in Thailand bringing more diversity to the supply chain. In addition, ICONS has a factory in Sydney, Australia producing natural and innovative hair treatments, personal care and skincare for specialty brands in Australia, USA and Europe.
