From March 4-5, the global beauty industry gathered once again at MakeUp in Los Angeles 2026, welcoming over 148 exhibitors and 5,470 visitors to explore the latest in beauty innovation, packaging design, and product development.

For ICONS America, this year marked a defining moment. Not only did we showcase our evolving “Level Up” concept, but we were also recognized as the exhibitor who drove the highest number of signups to the show and received the Star Product Showcase for our tottles, mix and match applicator pansticks, and our In-Mold Label Tubes.

Scott Lingren has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ICONS Beauty Group succeeding Sue Nichols, the company’s founder, who is stepping up into the role of Vice Chair of ICONS Beauty Group Board of Directors.

With more than 25 years’ senior executive experience across the USA, Asia and Europe, Scott brings expertise in manufacturing, operations and global business leadership. As CEO, he will lead the ICONS’ portfolio companies, driving continued growth and reinforcing the group’s commitment to quality, service and sustainability. Scott will be based in Charlotte, North Carolina, home to ICONS Beauty Group portfolio company, ICONS America LLC headquarters and manufacturing facility.

He also gained more than 13 years’ global experience in executive positions with Freescale/NXP Semiconductors, Dell Technologies and Nokia. Originally from Wisconsin, Scott holds an MBA from Edgewood University and a BBA from University of Wisconsin’s School of Business.

There is no change in management, company structure or product offerings to clients and personnel will be integrated into ICONS America LLC.

We introduced the Bloom 2.0 collection, an evolution of our Bloom concept launched earlier this year at our booth at MakeUp in Los Angeles, now refreshed with new formats, the latest innovations, and a deeper focus on the sensory experience of packaging.

Our MakeUp in Paris debut marked an exciting moment to connect with European and UK audiences, and we were thrilled to welcome so many new faces into our world of sustainable packaging.
