2025 was our ICONS Beauty Group MakeUp in Paris debut where we unveiled our “Bloom” themed booth, a celebration of beauty’s transformation through sustainability, inclusion and sensory innovation.  The booth spotlighted hybrid applicators, tactile packaging and recyclable mono-material solutions designed to make packaging functional as well as an immersive part of the product experience.  From new sensory click pen and wand applicator in unique shapes and materials, to our mono-material PP In-Mold Label (IML) Tubes produced in our ICONS America manufacturing facility in North Carolina, we showcased how packaging can elevate beauty experiences.  

One of our standout favorites at the show was Our Slow Release Mist Sprayer. With one single slow, smooth press, the slow release sprayer dispenses a wide, fine and sustained 0.65cc dose. Paired with a 24/410 neck size, the sprayer fits with a variety of bottles in various fill sizes, ideal for hair, body and wellness sprays offering an elevated, spa-like experience through form and function.

The lip category is booming and the line between skincare and makeup continues to blur with a growing demand for hybrid formulations with both color and care benefits, whether lip oils, lip balms or lip stains. At the same time, consumers are also looking for products that provide a simple, fast and fun application.   

When it comes to liquid lip wand and mascara packaging, we are seeing shape trends going back to the basics in standard round or square bottle shapes. Innovation is often all about the applicator. 

As a result there has been a gravitation toward tactile, soft tip applicators that provide a soft pillowy application. To meet this demand, we have launched a range of new D16 and D19 tubes with a variety of new soft silicone tip shapes, as well as various new doefoot options in fun, flexible, functional shapes.      

Sustainability also continues to dominate the top of the wish list for consumers and brands alike, whether recyclable, including PCR content, refillable, or sometimes, all three. When it comes to lip trends, “care” is the magic word. Skincare and makeup are fusing and consumers are looking for products with a “care aspect” in the formulation. Demand is booming for lip oils, which offer a glossy, healthy look with natural ingredients and lightweight feel, with tubes often being the optimal choice for these new launches due to versatility, compatibility with a variety of formulations, and availability with a wide range of applicator options.

One of ICONS|ICS’s latest lip partnerships was with Ole Henriksen. The brand’s newly launched Glimmer Collection provides a “sparkling splash of lip-plumping hydration,” which the company sought to echo with an effervescent glimmer effect on the tube.

“ICONS|ICS worked closely with Ole Henriksen to customize the tube sleeve with an understated, yet eye-catching glitter decoration that extends from neck to crimp, emanating the subtle glimmer effect within the formulation,” Peterson explains. “The 19mm tubes have a soft TPE slant tip applicator that delivers a precise, cushiony glide, and evenly distributes the formulation for optimal plumping results.”

The Ole Henriksen brand is well known for its transformative skincare products that deliver the signature “Ole Glow” and their newly launched Glimmer Collection of the Pout range is no exception, providing a “sparkling splash of lip-plumping hydration” from the formulation all the way to the effervescent glimmer effect on the tube decoration.

The Ocean Plastic used to create our Ocean Plastic tubes comes from recycled HDPE pulled directly from the ocean, and maritime waste including fishing nets, ropes, and trawls, rather than ocean-bound plastic. The tubes are REACH and Proposition 65 compliant and come in diameters from 13- to 50mm.
